Our Impact
Veterans and their families share their stories
Claudia Flores
I am excited to introduce you to Chimney Trail Foundation and our visionary mission to revitalize veteran service organizations into state-of-the-art co-working and community spaces for veterans and military spouses.
We believe that it’s time to transform the way we support our veterans and empower them for a successful civilian life.
Jackie Schneider
…the truth is that the post 9/11 veteran is not separate from society, nor are their differences so contradictory that their legacy is doomed. This is because at its core, the post 9/11 veteran shares something important. They are bound together by a willingness to serve and sacrifice, a calling that translates to a legacy of leadership in service in the civilian communities to which these veterans return.
Melvin James
Melvin James has a dream that he’d like to see fulfilled. As the commander of American Legion William P. Roche Post 21 in Southwest Philadelphia, James can see a revitalized headquarters welcoming area residents.
“We’ve got some big plans for this place and it’s coming soon,” James said recently after accepting a $100,000 revitalization check from City Councilmember Kenyatta.

Your support helps 100s of veterans to launch their next chapter
Our Veteran Service Organization posts should be a reflection of its local community. They should also be a reflection of its members. Many of our posts haven’t kept pace. Known for cheap beer and bingo, they don’t reflect the dynamism and potential of our nation’s warfighters, their friends, and their families.
There are more women, people of color, varying religious traditions, and capabilities in our modern generation of veterans than at any point in human history. A tapestry of high performance. Refreshing our VSO locations to reflect that reality honors their service, ensures their wellness, and gives back to our communities.
There are more Veteran Service Organization posts in the United States than there are Starbucks. WOW! Learn about how you can bring this brand of VSO experience to your hometown.
